Surrender 06 early bird deadline soon
One of the things that I have been involved with this year is helping to organize UNOH's Surrender 06; Wild adventures with Jesus conference. It should be a great time, here is an excert from a flyer we are sending around at the moment. This is a reminder that early bird registrations for our Surrender 06: Wild adventures with Jesus conference close in the next few days.July 15 is the date you need to have your registrations in to take advantage of this great opportunity.
As well as featuring well known speakers such as Tony Campolo, Michael Duncan, Deb Hirsch, Ash Barker, Ray Minniecon and Darryl Gardiner, great music from bands such as Antiskeptic and Vox Congo, we are also proud to announce that we have many of the best practioners around for our electives.
Some of our elective speakers confirmed so far include: Marcus Curnow, Lindy Croucher, Alan Hirsch, John Jenson, Lisa Owen, Jim Reiher, Rowland Croucher, Dave Fuller, Bekki Scott, Arthur Bolkas, Kevin Maddock and David Wilson, with many others yet to confirm.
Friday August 25 - Sunday August 27 at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre should be an exciting time as we seek to invite, encourage and challenge many to follow Jesus as we are lead through wild adventures.
Ash Barker, UNOH director says,
"Wilder more adventurous and meaningful lives are not only possible, but exactly what Jesus intends for us. Jesus was the original Wild One... and he calls us to follow him."

Thanks Geoff, will be great to hear legends such as Kev and Arthur as well as many others. Hope life is good over in Lexington, we still haven't a date for U2 tix, this can't be good
mate,
sorry about the u2 limbo. from what i have read they are pretty committed to the oz gigs. hope it works out. teh vertigo gig i saw in atlanta was beyond brilliant.
life here is pretty good. it's an ongoing education to be a stranger in a strange land. we love our missionary lives and i guess living in the middle of the madness of the USA is a good place to explore the missional ways of jesus. the apostle paul was drawn in by the gravity of rome and we're compelled to similarly declare the good news that confronts the empire. we are blessed to have a remarkable community living the wildness of the kingdom.
but onto more serious matters.....what's happening to my beloved pies. talk about a heart breaker. i scream and cheer at my computer each week and it's like a roller coaster ride. i'd love to hear your thoughts. i was at my most unbearable last week when we went down to the saints . should i be looking to '07 for the flag??
laters,

Mate, great to hear your passion still comin through, must admit the past month has been a little on the down side. I have consoled my self with the fact that the last 2 weeks the pies have played on the Sundays and I have heard snippets as I travel btwn Jacks game(u/13's) and Rory's game (u/15's)fortunately both boys teams are flying so it helps to take the focus off the crisis. Nothing better than suburban boys footy to get ya goin. Still the Pies should pick up a bit I reckon, see we all live in hope.
